A tropical and festive blend of light and dark rum, pineapple, orange, and lime juice with a hint of almond-flavored orgeat syrup—this Hawaiian-style Mai Tai is fruity, refreshing, and perfect for toasting love and sunshine.

Ingredients

    Light Rum:

    1 oz

    Dark Rum:

    1 oz

    Orange Curaçao:

    1 oz

    Orgeat Syrup:

    1/2 oz

    Lime Juice (freshly squeezed):

    1 oz

    Pineapple Juice:

    2 oz

    Crushed Ice

    Garnish:

    Pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, mint, and lime slice

    Optional:

    Paper umbrellas or cocktail picks

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add light rum, orange curaçao, orgeat syrup, lime juice, and pineapple juice. Shake vigorously until chilled.
  2. Fill a glass with crushed ice and strain the mixture into it.
  3. Slowly pour the dark rum over the back of a spoon to float it on top.
  4. Garnish with a pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, lime slice, mint sprig, and cocktail umbrella.
  5. Serve immediately with a straw or cocktail stirrer and enjoy!
