Bread:
1 fresh ciabatta loaf or baguette (sliced in half lengthwise)
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
Filling:
4–6 slices prosciutto
1 ball burrata cheese (about 4 oz), torn into pieces
2–3 tbsp chili fig jam (or fig jam + a pinch of chili flakes)
1 handful fresh arugula
Salt + freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Prepare Bread: Slice ciabatta or baguette in half and lightly toast if desired. Drizzle both sides with olive oil.
Layer the Sandwich: Spread chili fig jam evenly on the bottom half of the bread. Add a layer of arugula. Place slices of prosciutto on top. Tear burrata and arrange generously over the prosciutto.
Season & Finish: Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drizzle with balsamic glaze (optional, for extra tang). Top with the other half of bread and gently press together.
