For the Truffle Centers:
- 1 cup Nutella (or other chocolate hazelnut spread)
- 1 cup crushed digestive biscuits or graham crackers
For the Coating:
- 8 oz dark or milk chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter (optional, for smoothness)
- Chocolate sprinkles or shavings, for decoration
- In a bowl, stir together Nutella and crushed biscuits until well combined and moldable. Using a spoon or melon baller, scoop out portions and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 15–20 minutes.
- Melt chocolate and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Dip each frozen truffle ball into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place back on parchment.
- While the coating is still wet, decorate with sprinkles or shavings. Chill truffles until chocolate is set. Store in the fridge.
