Rich and irresistible, these easy Nutella truffles feature a smooth hazelnut-chocolate filling encased in a crisp biscuit-like layer and coated in glossy chocolate. Perfect for gifting or indulging in bite-sized decadence.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Truffle Centers:

  • 1 cup Nutella (or other chocolate hazelnut spread)
  • 1 cup crushed digestive biscuits or graham crackers

For the Coating:

  • 8 oz dark or milk chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter (optional, for smoothness)
  • Chocolate sprinkles or shavings, for decoration

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, stir together Nutella and crushed biscuits until well combined and moldable. Using a spoon or melon baller, scoop out portions and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Melt chocolate and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Dip each frozen truffle ball into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place back on parchment.
  3. While the coating is still wet, decorate with sprinkles or shavings. Chill truffles until chocolate is set. Store in the fridge.
