Cake:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 ¾ cups sugar
- 4 large egg whites
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup crushed Oreos (about 10 cookies)
Oreo Frosting:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2–3 tbsp heavy cream or milk
- 1 cup finely crushed Oreos (no filling)
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch cake pans.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg whites and vanilla. Mix well.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until just combined.
- Fold in crushed Oreos. Divide between pans. Bake for 30–35 minutes. Let cool.
- For frosting, beat butter until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, cream, and crushed Oreos.
- Frost cooled cake and decorate as desired.
