Cake:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ¾ cups sugar
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos (about 10 cookies)

Oreo Frosting:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 23 tbsp heavy cream or milk
  • 1 cup finely crushed Oreos (no filling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch cake pans.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg whites and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until just combined.
  5. Fold in crushed Oreos. Divide between pans. Bake for 30–35 minutes. Let cool.
  6. For frosting, beat butter until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, cream, and crushed Oreos.
  7. Frost cooled cake and decorate as desired.
