Homemade Disney Churros Recipe

Churros:
- 1 cup water
- 2 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Coating:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat. Stir in flour until mixture forms a ball.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 375°F (190°C). Pipe strips of dough directly into the hot oil, cutting with scissors. Fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- In a shallow dish, mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll warm churros in the mixture until fully coated. Serve immediately.
