  • ½ cup milk
  • 1½ cups finely chopped peeled apples (e.g., Honeycrisp)

Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease/line a loaf pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugar: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
  3. Add vanilla: Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Prepare dry ingredients: In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Combine wet and dry: Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  6. Add apples: Fold in chopped apples.
  7. Bake: Pour batter into the pan and bake for 60–70 minutes. Cool completely.
  8. Make glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Pour over cooled cake.
