Soft, gooey, and perfectly spiced, these take-and-bake cinnamon rolls are the ultimate make-ahead Christmas breakfast. Rich with brown sugar cinnamon filling and topped with sweet glaze, they’re ready to pop in the oven for a warm holiday morning treat.

For the dough:

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast
  • ½ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt

For the filling:

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter, softened

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, salt, and flour. Mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead for 6–8 minutes, then place in greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle, spread with softened butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  5. Roll up tightly and slice into 12 rolls. Arrange in a greased baking pan.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight or until ready to bake.
  7. When ready, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 22–25 minutes until golden.
  8. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.
