Learn how to make a delicious Classic Mango Float, a simple yet delightful dessert that combines creamy goodness with the sweetness of ripe mangoes in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale

Cream:

  • 2 cups heavy cream (chilled)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Layers:

  • 1 pack graham crackers
  • 34 ripe mangoes (peeled & sliced thinly)

Instructions

  1. Whip the Cream: In a large bowl, whip chilled heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in condensed milk and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Layer the Float: In a rectangular glass dish, arrange a layer of graham crackers at the bottom. Spread a generous layer of cream mixture on top. Add a layer of mango slices.
  3. Repeat Layers: Continue layering graham crackers, cream, and mangoes until the dish is full, ending with mangoes beautifully arranged on top.
  4. Chill: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4–6 hours) to let the crackers soften and flavors meld.
  5. Serve: Slice into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less condensed milk based on your preference.
  • For added texture, you can sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top before serving.
