  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract (optional)
  • Extra whipped topping, maraschino cherries, and mini chocolate chips for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. Fold in the whipped topping, mixing gently until combined.
  2. Add the cherry pie filling and almond extract, stirring until evenly mixed.
  3. Fold in the mini chocolate chips, reserving a few for topping.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the chocolate cookie crust and smooth the top.
